Stay close to the Pacific, at Marina del Rey, and explore Venice Beach or Santa Monica, or with the stars in Beverley Hills or Hollywood. It's a city where the car rules. The freedom of a hire car is recommended to get around and explore.

Shopping is fantastic in Los Angeles, so be sure to spend some time taking in Los Angeles’ finest shops and boutiques on Melrose and Rodeo Drive. Don't forget your credit card!

Surf in the morning, ski in the afternoon!
For beach lovers you can pick from Malibu, Venice Beach, Marina Del Rey and Laguna Beaches. Try surfing! Go on give it a try and then you might be interested in doing a little snowboarding too. Yes you can do both, when you’re in Los Angeles.

Getting around
You’ll find a variety of transportation options available to you in the city of Los Angeles. The system operates over 1,500 buses and there is also a great subway system. In Los Angeles you can also purchase a Metro-Day pass and this will allow you to ride the system all day. It’s a great way to get around and see the very best of the city while you’re visiting.

If dining out is a fun part of your trip, you’ll enjoy the fantastic cuisine and the choices of restaurants and diners.
